**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that new-building activities are compliant with Safety Management System (SMS) and all relevant international rules and regulations;
- Ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;
- Review and provide inputs on potential new-building technical specifications;
- Follow up on risk analysis with regard to ongoing new-building projects;
- Review and issue comments on new-building project drawings for approval in accordance with shipbuilding contract;
- Follow up on specification deviations, work progress and drawing approval for the project;
- Ensure that vessels are built in respect with all regulations and newbuild specifications;
- Liaise with Class, Flag, Shipyard, Contractor and Equipment/System Makers accordingly;
- Report on new-building project’s progress;
- Provide Pre-delivery purchaser with necessary information to draw the list of initial stores and spare parts;
- Manage new-building vessel’s delivery;
- Propose new standards and guidelines;
- Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis;
- Establish of the SMS and PMS for the new taken over vessels related to LNG handling/operation
- Provide necessary training to ship crew in related to LNG handling/operation

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or other related disciplines; or
- Ship Construction and Engineering academic discipline or
- Certificate of Competency with T11,T12 advanced LNG powered ship license

**Requirements**:
- Shipbuilding and project management experienced
- Experience in building LNG-fueled ships and/or experience in handling LNG dual-fueled engines/systems is required
- Sea-going experience on LNG or LNG fueled ship as Cargo/Gas engineer or Chief Engineer will be an advantages
- Knowledge in Class and Statutory rules and regulations will be an advantage.
- Result oriented with good project management, analytical skills;
- Technical knowledge of LNG or LNG dual fuel engine/system operation;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment;
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible to change priorities;
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills;
