Job Description & Requirements

Job Scope:

- Acting as the intermediary between designers, clients and architects so that projects remain efficient and effective
- Working closely with BIM coordinators and ensuring appropriate implementation of BIM execution plans
- Lead all parties involved in BIM Modelling and engage in 3D review process throughout the project, including regular meetings with BIM coordinators and relevant decision-making authority
- Develop BIM requirements, report format, BIM model structure, BIM model template and shared folder structure for the project
- Supporting and auditing the project team and flagging non-compliances
- Work with all BIM Coordinators from all stakeholders on the project to create, administer and maintain their Models (and associated information) based on the requirements stated in the BIM Execution Plan.
- Ensure the model of construction, virtual mock up and 4D simulation are completed on time
- Lead monthly BIM coordination meeting, providing MOM, status updates of progress, walk-through of BIM model and any other business related to project
- Accountable for creating and implementing BIM deliverables - BIM execution plan, confliction detection report, BIM QC plan, BIM Design review procedure, Construction sequence (4D) and cost estimate (5D)
- Ensuring all technical and engineering drawings and specifications comply with project requirements, no rework due to modelling errors and meeting project deadlines
- Overseeing the purchase of workstations so that hardware is sufficient and effective
- Driving the implementation of digital information plans and strategies
- Overseeing BIM budgets, preparation of billing reports
- Adhering to the latest industry standards.

Requirement:

- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, mechanical/electronics engineering, Specialist Diploma in BIM would be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of relevant BIM project, preferably in construction/engineering sector
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit, Naviswork and other similar BIM software
- Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge in BIM management as well as construction management will be an advantage for this post.
- Meticulous with an eye for details and able to communicate with people at all levels
- Strong organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills;
- Self-driven, resourceful and a team player
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
