**Brand Operations Specialist (Singapore)**
We are looking for a Brand Operations Specialist working with one of the largest consumer brands in APAC. You will collaborate closely with brand stakeholders and agency partners and act as an ambassador to brand guidelines, design standards, and overall trademark protection with a strong focus on localisation. Your primary focus is on brand review, approvals, operationalising our design systems, and improving the brand representation across JAPAC by driving linkage to the brand’s identity globally while maintaining a JAPAC focus.
You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and marketing managers when ensuring
brand consistency across the board. You should have a strong knowledge of branding and stakeholder management and be comfortable educating relevant stakeholders and parties on the nuances of branding foundations and how to build while maintaining a consistent look & feel.
With a deep knowledge of the brand’s products, market trends, and individual client needs, you’ll brainstorm, develop and refine customised JAPAC style guides. You must be comfortable explaining various design elements. You possess excellent communication skills, are comfortable explaining why a design concept is not approved and can work constructively with all business areas.
Role:
- Respond to and track brand approvals and permissions
- Drive education on the relationship between the brand’s design system and the product with wider internal and external teams.
- Develop best practices and localised benchmarking brand systems and playbooks
- Utilise and translate existing brand guidelines into actionable responses for partner agencies and third-party creators.
- Champion ways to bring the best brand to life by giving design feedback, previous use cases and established brand guidelines.
You:
- BA/BS degree and/or four years of relevant work experience.
- 6+ years of experience in branding, project management, operations or advertising. Preferred to have design experience.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and comfortable working in a client-facing environment.
- Proven track record of exceptional performance and high productivity demonstrated ability to deliver with minimum guidance.
- A hyper-organised and accountable individual with experience working in a dynamic creative and design environment.
- Strong understanding of creative, branding, and marketing with the ability to adapt JAPAC nuances
- Extensive experience working across global teams in a matrix organisation.
- Extensive experience working with tools such as Figma, Google Sheets, Docs etc.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language(Japanese preferred) to cover projects spanning JAPAC.
