The District Infrastructure Coordinator (Assistant Manager) plans and implements infrastructure projects that include communication systems for voice, video and data telecommunications network equipment, circuit and system to meet business and customer requirements.

**Job Requirements**
- Manage and coordinate infrastructure projects for WAN, voice and HDVC (High-Definition Video Conferencing) systems.
- Manages and implements mobile phone policy and interaction with vendors
- Performs capacity & resources planning and contingency planning to manage the risks of network failure and to ensure appropriate service levels are maintained
- Provides support for the telecommunications infrastructure. Collaborates with Corporate network team and circuit provider to investigate and provides resolution for network problems
- Evaluates new technology and provide proof-of-concept testing. Establish deployment plans once the new technology has been determined to benefit to business and has been approved by IT
- Maintains and increases a broad range of knowledge and skills in telecommunications systems to provide training to team members
- Collaborates with stakeholders to establish project to plan, schedule, and monitor work to meet time and quality targets in accordance with legislation and UPS procedures

**Responsibilities**:

- Possess a Degree in Engineering, Computing or IT
- Possess prior experience in implementing IT infrastructure projects as well as knowledge of different network protocols/voice, data and wireless telecommunications, HDVC systems
- Demonstrate ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented as well as work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
