Let’s be #BrilliantTogether Overview:
ISS STOXX is seeking a few full-time Governance Research Interns for 2025. proxy season. This position will be based in Singapore and would mainly cover China and Taiwan Market from April 28-June 13, 2025 (7 weeks).

Responsibilities:

- Analyze corporate governance and financial information to process data and write research reports on publicly traded companies mainly in mainland China and Taiwan;
- Issue proxy vote recommendations for shareholder meetings of the companies mainly listed in stock exchanges in mainland China and Taiwan;
- Develop market expertise in corporate governance, investment, and shareholder issues gathered through research and potential engagement with company executives, institutional investors, and government/regulatory/listing authorities.

Qualifications:

- Undergraduate or graduate students majored in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics or any related fields, or equivalent experience;
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills in Chinese (both simplified and traditional) and English;
- Able to work independently and in a team environment, as well as under tight deadlines;
- Analytical and detail-oriented, have a keen sense of judgment, and be goal-oriented;
- Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks;
- Passion for corporate governance research;
- Experience and knowledge of corporate governance and proxy voting issues is preferred;
- Eligibility to work is required
