Finance Manager, Treasury Services

Reporting to the Director, Regional Treasury Services APAC, you will
- Ensure operational excellence for the day-to-day operations of the cash management desk covering the markets under your responsibility;
- Contribute to the design of the global cash management process and procedures to represent particular regional attention points and to continuously make improvements to global processes;
- Lead the implementation of any treasury initiatives in support of the J&J global cash management process in selected markets throughout Asia Pacific. In doing so, you provide management with detailed status reports on the progress and the outstanding issues of the project;
- Work closely together with legal and tax counsel to understand the regulatory environment and the financial restrictions of the markets under your responsibility;
- Partner with the regional shared service initiatives and with the local finance organizations to implement the global cash management process according to the best practice model for the country’s financial and regulatory landscape;
- Develop your team responsible for the execution of the daily operations of the cash management desk. In so doing, you set objectives for the team members, provide mentoring to the team and manage the performance evaluation and succession planning process;
- Ensure that your team has appropriate training to perform all duties and responsibilities;
- Ensure operation of internal controls in accordance with J&J Sarbanes Oxley procedures. Work to proactively mitigate compliance concerns, including identification and implementation of Internal Control Best Practices;
- Manage the relationship with the regional shared service centers and local finance organizations for delivered cash management services. You lead the service review process with your customers;
- Establish excellent contact with different stakeholders in the Global Treasury Services organization to ensure appropriate education and attention for regional differences, while keeping a focus on standardization;
- Contribute to Global Treasury projects as representative of the requirements of treasury and the affiliates in the region;
- Manage the relationship with key banking partners and financial institutions to monitor on their service delivery and to identify useful products and services for the country or regional solutions;
- Follow the financial environment to identify trends, opportunities, and solutions for the markets under your responsibility.
- Partner with various local/regional stakeholders (e.g., Real Estate, Regulatory Affairs) as required to support business initiatives
- Be the face of RTSC for the markets under your responsibility and be able to engage in discussions with country finance leadership teams on treasury topics incl strategy and policies

**Qualifications**
Your profile:

- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting or relevant discipline;
- A Master’s degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting (Master of Applied Economics, MBA) will be desirable;
- 5 - 8 years of working experience in a Financial Institution or Corporate Treasury Environment, that have exposed you to cash management techniques, funding structures and other treasury related aspects, is an important advantage;
- Demonstrated leadership skills, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proven track record of developing staff at multiple levels of the finance organization;
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Team player and able to take leadership in a multifunctional global team;
- Confident in changing environments;
- Fluency in English is required. Any additional Asian language skills can be an advantage;
- Occasional business travel as required.
