**Overview**

As the Finance & Treasury Manager, you will be supporting the Financial Controller in all aspects of the finance reporting, accounting and budgeting process. You will play a key role in managing treasury activities and spearheading new banking and OTC relationships. In addition, you will provide support in handling month-end closing, management and statutory reporting and audit matters.

This position can be based in Singapore, Zurich or Zug.

**Responsibilities**
- Be the ambassador of BitMEX in building relationships and leading the onboarding process with FIs, exchanges and other professional partners;
- Liaise with entities such as banks & payment companies to ensure proper cash and bank reconciliation;
- Assist in financial budgeting & forecasting which includes cash flow management and projection of expenses;
- Support the financial reporting function through forecasting and reporting of fiat and crypto liquidity position;
- Maintain proper documentation for all bank and counterparties accounts;
- Assist in the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs and revenues are properly recorded, reviewing accounting entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation;
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and applicable accounting standard;
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance;
- Coordinate the relevant stakeholders to produce timely, efficient and accurate month-end close, all internal management and statutory financial reporting;
- Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses;
- Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns;
- Work with finance team members and relevant internal parties to ensure overall coordination of all financial accounting activities through annual report;
- Offer expertise and input from Finance's perspective and work in cross-functional teams to advance various crypto initiatives;
- Participate in system enhancement and implementation;
- Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including review and implementation of process and system changes; and
- Support other ad hoc duties and new initiatives. e.g. transfer pricing, budgeting, liquidity projections, revenue/cost analysis, and regulatory reporting etc.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting and a minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience
- Ability to build good relationships and work closely with bankers, related counterparties & internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organized, ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Proficiency in G-suite, Workday and knowledge in crypto would be a plus
