**Role overview**

The Regional Content Director Role (RCD) is responsible for leading the development of Time Out’s content strategy, identity and best practice across Time Out APAC audience. The primary focus of this role is to define, champion and display best practice within the O&O entities and to work with audience and leadership to support the production of new content initiatives in the region.

**Key responsibilities**
- Wider strategy with a view to grow on site audience engagement across the website, newsletter, social media, video and wider Time Out traffic delivery
- Training, best practices and support for new and existing audience channels
- SEO optimisations and initiatives and working closely with the editorial team on optimising best practices in this space
- Provide the content and sales team with requested items such as audience behaviours, editorial suggestions and campaign recommendations where appropriate
- Run regular content meetings across the region with the view to keep the editorial team focused on their growth goals, current trends, upskilling, audience sentiment and best practices
- Work with the content and commercial directors both in APAC and globally where appropriate to share ideas, needs etc
- Competitive analysis and assisting with identifying opportunities
- Work with the necessary teams to test new product initiatives
- Produce best practice overviews and materials where appropriate to publish
- Meaningful audience insights from data and conducting audience surveys and polls
- Produce regular TO4Bus eDM insight pieces and trade content initiatives where appropriate

Strong leadership skills and excellent management
- International experience across APAC preferred
- Be commercially astute
- Analytical skills and prior experience demonstrating critical thinking
- Strategy experience in publishing, marketing or growth
- Comfortability with Nielson DCR & DCP, Google Analytics, Data dashboards (Eg. Adobe, Looker, Parsley, Data studio, Datarama, CRM, etc)
- SEO experience and ability to regularly conduct SEO optimisations and trainings
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Strong communication, collaboration and planning skills
- Survey, Competitions and EDM experience
- Proven track record in personally delivering results from cross channel digital content strategies
- Understanding audience behaviour and finding audience insights
- Ability to work in a team environment and also on your own, while meeting deadlines
