Job Description**
Team Summary**
The Asia Pacific Editorial & Content team sits at the centre of Visa’s storytelling. The team works with the business functions, employee engagement and communication teams to develop and champion a consistent Visa narrative across all aspects of our business. The team then produces video, audio, online and written content to help tell that story to our clients, colleagues and the public.
**What the Director, Editorial & Content does at Visa**:
In this role, you will work with the AP business and communication teams to deliver against business strategy. You will identify priority business initiatives, partner in developing stories that illustrate Visa’s impact through those initiatives, and then lead the production, distribution and promotion of that content through a range of internal and external channels. You will also work with the Corporate Events team to provide content ideas and creative/production counsel as needed for major corporate events.
The Director, Editorial & Content is responsible for prioritisation of resources and ensuring the creation and maintenance of an editorial calendar that ensures a consistent flow of Visa information, and that all communication is delivered in an organised and synergistic manner.
In this role you will work with the regional and global content teams to create and amplify social media communication, using text, graphic and video posts. You will also develop and report metrics-based results to the Communication team leadership for all content created or amplified.

**Projects you will be a part of**:
This team creates and leads some of the highest profile communication programs in the region, ranging from client meetings to the annual sales meeting to major business initiatives including the Olympics and FIFA World Cup, designed to ensure Visa remains an innovative leader in electronic payments.
You will drive content development and social amplification strategies for this work, as well as design and maintain an editorial calendar with input colleagues in the Communication team and other functions to ensure a constant flow of Visa stories internally and externally.

What you will need:
To be successful in this role, you will need a range of professional and technical skills - and the more passion you feel for mastery of the tools of modern communication, the more you will love this job.
Technical expertise will play an important role in your success, Tools include all Microsoft Office programs, social media engagement and amplification protocols, video production through iMovie or other video production software and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills. You will also need a strong background in production management, as you will manage all aspects of external production, from storyboards to shoot schedules to editing and promoting content.

You should also be outgoing and intellectually curious, and excel in creative, solution-oriented problem solving. This role spans the breadth of Visa’s business, so you should be comfortable building and maintaining a large network of colleagues across functions and geographies.
