My client is looking to fill the below position

The CFO will be the guardian/caretaker of the global family assets. He will look after the family’s wealth and interests, helping manage their investments, properties, and structures, overseeing and monitoring all income and assets. He will ensure strict adherence to the family’s policy of wealth preservation and risk profile.

The CFO will assist the family in managing, preserving and increasing the family's wealth for both current and future generations, and planning for the family's day-to-day running costs.

Assist the family in preserving the values, vision, principles, and guidelines as per the Family Council Rules.

1. Assist the family in identifying and analysing worldwide financial investment opportunities through periodic discussions with private bankers and financial institutions.

2. Formulating sound financial and tax efficient strategies, with wealth preservation being the paramount theme, keeping track of investment portfolio allocation (cash, debt, equity, alternatives, private equity, real estate, etc..) to ensure no deviation from planned strategy. Review the performance of investments and participate into investment decision and portfolio analysis, including projected returns.

3. Oversee the global family assets (directly owned or under the Trusts), keeping track and providing up to date statements on assets, income, returns including cash flow projections on a monthly/quarterly basis or on need basis. Liaise with various Banks, Financial Institutions, companies, accountants, and Trustees on a periodic basis to obtain relevant information and statements on a periodic basis.

4. Enhance risk management; identify and communicate risk areas and control gaps as well as develop well thought through and practical solutions. Develop risk management policies and procedures.

5. Governance. Ensure all asset ownership documents are accurate, complete and up to date. Be the custodian of all ownership documents (property deeds/titles, share certificates, bank statements, lease agreements, etc.) pertaining to all assets. Ensure all are in order, organized and filed properly (hard copies and soft copies). Prepare an updated detailed list of ownership documents for all assets and update on a quarterly basis.

6. Ensure timely filing of financial statements and liaise with auditors for annual audit. Ensure taxes due on personal, companies or trust income and for all assets worldwide are paid correctly and in time. Assist in tax, estate planning and restructuring in consultation with tax consultants in respective countries.

7. Ensure Lease Agreements through Trust companies / holding companies are renewed well in time. Keep track to ensure all rent payments (net of justified expenses) are received in full and in time. Ensure all obligations (service & maintenance charges, utility bills, etc.) and all statutory obligations are paid correctly and in time.

8. Be a custodian of family members’ Wills. Ensure new Wills are drafted from time to time ensuring correctness in accordance with planned distribution and that updated copies of Wills are delivered to the custodians, trustees and executors in respective countries for safekeeping.

9. Hold a meeting every six months with all family members to present a detailed status of all income and assets and ensure understanding by all.

**Qualifications**:
1. Honest, experienced and self-sufficient leader with an entrepreneurial spirit with indisputable record of integrity.

2. An undergraduate degree and preferably a CPA designation or an MBA.

3. Clear ability to successfully interact with diverse internal and external constituencies.

4. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow and manage multiple projects.

5. Well-developed analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency with Excel
