The FM Compliance Expert is the functional lead on Quality and compliance related matters in facility services and is responsible for the relevant GMP scope (i.e., cleaning, pest control). He/she will actively support the FM team and the customer (i.e., shop floor), providing oversight of associated programs and initiatives, ensuring quality, performance effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible to ensure all FM services at the site comply with the requirements of the Novartis corporate quality manual and policies and meet all relevant cGMP regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Responsible for building a strong quality mind-set within the FM team, and establishing effec-tive governance mechanisms to promote collaboration and service efficiency..
- Responsible in handling all quality and compliance matters related to FM soft services such as cleaning, security and pest control (e.g. deviation system, change control system, docu-ment management, access control) and be the SME to address any query in relation to those (i.e. audit questions or observations).
- Direct required resources and support to ensure readiness for regulatory inspections from applicable Regulatory Authorities (i.e., FDA, EMA, etc.). Responsible to ensure the adherence to FM quality systems and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with Site Quality and ensure corrective and preventive actions are followed up and implemented. Ensure GMP contractors have required quality agreements to provide services on site.
- Track, trend quality metrics and manage quality dashboards.
- Provide quality oversight on shop floor and ensure FM and its contractors comply with site training requirements. Review and evaluate training program for FM team based on needs and changing expectations and provide recommendations.
- Advocates actively among internal and external members of FM team to understand and comply with the compliance standards in the site. Act as an escalation point for site management and service delivery issues related to compliance in FM service scope.

**Minimum requirements**
- University Degree or comparable education.
- Overall relevant work experience of approximately 5-7 years, ideally at multi-national organizations with experience in compliance related activities related to Facility Management
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory regulations regarding facility operations in a pharmaceutical environment is highly preferred, including operational exposure.
- Experience in driving improvement of services.
- Ability to balance resource demands from multiple internal customers.
- Experience of managing performance against SLAs combined with profound service mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively across organizations and interact with site leadership.
- Good level of personal credibility, customer relation-ship management, networking.
