**Senior Copywriter**

**12 months fixed term contract**

Maker Lab supports clients across technology, entertainment, financial services and the payments industry. We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team and support our amazing clients in the media technology industry.

As a Senior Copywriter, you will work closely with the creative team to build thought-provoking concepts for global advertising campaigns. You need to be a conceptual, collaborative, and curious thinker with the main purpose of creating impactful messaging for high-profile digital campaigns.

**Role**:

- Develop copy and maintain voice across a wide range of deliverables, including print and digital ad campaigns, web pages, brochures, events, case studies, videos, and more.
- Work with regional brand and creative development teams — as well as other stakeholders — to translate our brand proposition into a cohesive and impactful voice
- Present to senior leadership, providing rationale for copy, concept, and campaign strategy
- Participate in brand development creative strategy meetings and weekly creative reviews
- Evaluate trends, assess new data and keep up-to-date with the latest marketing techniques.

**You**:

- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of copywriting experience, with prior experience and a proven track record in digital content strategy within an agency, or technology companies
- Proven ability to make complex concepts relatable and easily understandable for any audience; translating technical offerings into human terms is a big part of the job, and your ability to do that will be paramount to your success in this role
- Experience concepting across a multitude of digital channels, including display, video, and audio
- Ability to work autonomously with a self-starter attitude in a start-up-like environment.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and constantly evolving matrix organisation.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and, ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support the projects spanning APAC.
