This role reports to Crewing Head and assist him/her in crewing strategy, including recruitment process, crew planning and scheduling, maintaining crew data, crewing manuals, documentation, talent management, crew engagement and implementing learning and development solutions. The role will be both a tactical and strategic one with key focus in delivering crewing solutions, influencing and planning, engage with business leaders and suppliers to deliver high quality, creative sourcing solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- To assist crewing head to implement crewing short-term and Long-term strategies and
- solutions to identify and fulfil crew requirements for all vessels;
- To perform processes review and system mapping
- To assist crewing head to coordinate with other divisions and external stakeholders to develop
- and drive various initiatives to drive maritime thought leadership.
- To assist crewing head to lead the delivery of crew planning and scheduling to support the
- overall business - assess, identify and prioritize crew requirements - maintaining up-to-date plans, schedules, crew data and processes for invoicing.
- To assist crewing head to implementing the learning and development solutions to build a pipeline of talent for the future, including officer level and cadet level programs
- Providing guidance and advice on approach - our selection criteria, interview process etc
- Understand procedure of crew recruitment, planning, deployment & promotion etc and be able to perform crew change as per procedure
- To communicate with crew agency on crew's availability and Notify ship's master on crew planning / welfare, documents verification for prevessel boarding, immigration clearance, travel arrangements and related formalities prior to sea assignment.

**Requirement**:

- Degree in Maritime or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR or crewing/manning related field
- Quick learner and able to work in fast pace environment
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Presentation.
- Able to multitask and enjoy interactions with multinational crew and different crew manning agents
- Possess the ability to analyse and identify the knowledge needs of the maritime industry, both present and future. These will drive the development of creative programmes and activities to support Singapore’s aim to be a premier maritime training hub.
