RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Deputy Company Security Officer (CSO)
- Development, implementation and maintenance of the Company’s
- SEMS and training program and to recommend subordinates to carry out such parts of this work. Delegate and monitor this work.
- Market research and investigations.
- To implement approved policies to keep the Marine Operations costs to minimum consistent with safe and efficient operations of the company’s vessels to meet the company’s standards and vessels requirements.
- Reporting all deficiencies or improvements and controlling and maintaining any changes necessary.
- Liaising with all concerned to collate and analyse all information related to safety, injuries and accidents and to ensure all necessary corrective measures are applied.
- The continuous review and monitoring of training policies ashore and onboard.
- All marine advice for allocated vessels.
- Monitoring and reporting on Masters’ performance of allocated vessels.
- Continuous examination of navigational; communication cargo and ship handling, development and submitting recommendations for approval.
- The continuous review of Company fleet instructions for the operations of managed vessels and recommending changes for approval.
- That the vetting of all vessels is carried out as per Major oil Companies requirements.
- Arrange, coordinate and monitor training of shipboard personnel. To monitor the training conducted by the training Superintendent.

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
