**Main Responsibilities** - . Ensure that at all times the guidelines, as provided by the Field Technical Service Department BU PMC are followed. - To keep accurate and detailed records of the project(s) and have the information correctly transferred to the right standard reporting forms in time, to ensure that PPG interests are protected. - To attend the assigned projects and conduct your job. - In case of any deviation of the specified standards which may or could be the cause of a claim or complaint, immediately inform the responsible Field Technical Service Manager providing all relevant information. - To give technical assistance to all parties involved on site (i.e. yard, contractor / sub-contractor, and any other user of our products) in respect to our products. - To keep updated on the Sigma Coatings / Amercoat products and systems and use this to the benefit of PPG PMC. - To pass on any relevant information of the Sigma Coatings / Amercoat the Country Field Technical Service Manager or Global Field Technical Service Manager (Global FTS Office). - To be aware of the content of the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and be familiar with the local safety rules and regulations and follow them. - To handle complaints carefully and in such a way that your actions and verbal or written reports / comments do not result in a commitment or assumption of responsibility that is outside of your authorities, which could result in PPG PMC being held liable. - In case of complaint (potential claim) the responsible Field Technical Service Manager must be informed (involved) immediately. **Qualifications** - You must have at least 2 years of working experience in the marine coatings or protective coatings industry - Minimum of O Level qualification is a must have - Basic Microsoft Office knowledge is sufficient - You must be fluent in English **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
