The Outside Sales Engineer will be located in Singapore, and responsible for KEY customers' interaction with designated KEY accounts assign to him. The role includes project sales development and follow-up, execution and achievement of established financial goals, and accountability for facilitating the strategy, approach, and relationship development with key customers through personal involvement.
**Job Description**:
- Generate new business through analysis of assigned territory to identify new customers and markets;
- Grow existing accounts through execution of a proactive sales plan with initiatives to include a focus on lost & declining business in the existing customer base;
- Ensuring all customers are communicated with a mix of face to face, telephone, electronic and social media platforms to develop and retain customer business relationships;
- Achieve maximum profitability by meeting or exceeding gross margin goals through effective negotiation to meet annual budgets across customers, products and services;
- Develop KEY customers retention strategies by consistently illustrating the company's value proposition in conjunction with evolving customer needs;
- Prioritize working safety across all aspects of the business.
- Exercise care in all activities; demonstrate safety leadership; address and report workplace hazards, injuries
- Report any observed non-conformance or departure from established procedures.
- Comply with all QSE policies and procedures.
- Report any observed risk or departure from established procedures.
- Participate in the development and improvement of safety and environmental performance.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering field with 3 years oil & gas industry and valve experience
- Ability to develop knowledge of Valve and Valve Automation and understand the scope of supply and services
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and promote ideas and transfer detailed knowledge to others in one-to-one or group situations;
- Good oral, written, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic, organized and detailed
