Accountable for the overall integrity and reliability of all Instrument Installations, Systems and Equipment,

Safety Instrumented Systems and instrumentation for continuous and smooth operation.
- Regulatory compliance to company policies, safety procedures and practices.
- Reporting to Asset Management Lead, responsible for the overall integrity and reliability of plantwide ,

instrumentation & control and ancillary systems.
- Performs reliability improvements, develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other

problems that adversely affect plant equipment operations.
- Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant assets or business operations

through fault & defect elimination, risk management, life cycle management, performance monitoring and

improvement.
- Participate in NCR investigation focusing on improving safety, reliability, asset utilisation and production

efficiency.
- Develops and optimises PM's, work procedures, work instructions.
- Perform routine review and analysis of equipment performance and integrity and report against key

performance indicators.
- Regularly revisit the active PM's and validate using sound RCM methodologies.
- Conducts RCA/FMEA to avoid repeat and future failures.
- Creates the MOC's for improvement projects.
- Perform improvement projects scope on all Instrument assets.
- Leads efforts in troubleshooting and diagnosing Instrument system malfunctions and prescribes repairs or

changes in PM work practice.
- Performs critical spares identification and proposal to management to ensure high equipment availability.
- Maintain close working interaction with the stakeholders Maintenance, Operations, HSSEQ, Technical,

Engineering,and key 3rd party contractors (OEM's, consultants, etc).
- Act as technical authority for Instrument, supports training for Instrument engineers, supervisors and

in-house contractors.
- Ensure compliance with company policy, safety procedures and practices.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 10 years in Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical (industry) as an Instrument engineer
