RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the preparation, review and approval of instruments related deliverables e.g. instrument lists, data sheets, wiring diagrams, cause & effect, logic diagrams, control philosophy, operating procedures etc.

Prepare material requisition and perform technical bid evaluation for instrumentation e.g. flowmeters, gauges, transmitters, control valves, safety valves etc.

Develops and uses engineering standards, procedures and forms for engineering design and production fabrications

Controls and monitors job costs and schedules to meet completion dates, customer technical specifications and internal technical specifications

Attend technical review meeting with client and address comments regarding instrumentation

Attend and address HAZOP comments

Support to input Instruction & Operation manual

Support plant start-up & commission activities/troubleshooting on site

Provide technical support and proposal and job estimates to Sales

Provide engineering advice and support to engineers and Project Managers

Responsible for planning and self-monitoring daily engineering and design work assignments

Understand and adhere to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions

QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the engineering field
- Good organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities essential
- Problem solving and analytical skills a must
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Accurate and attentive to detail
- Ability to assist and work well with others
- Familiar with hazard area classification
- Fluent in English speaking and writing

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s in engineering (Electrical or Chemical) with 5 years prior experience

5 years’ experience in water and wastewater treatment process design
