**Job Functions**

The Purchasing Executive is part of the Purchasing Department whose function is to procure various items utilized by the Hotel. The Purchasing Department is responsible for sourcing vendors and ordering and tracking all purchases as well as receiving them - all in a timely manner. The Purchasing Executive checks all incoming goods (food and non-food items) against delivery invoices, food specifications and purchase records to assure that the type and amount of items charged and ordered were received. The Purchasing Executive also issues food, beverage and non-food goods to appropriate departments based on requisition orders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the daily approval of market lists (food items)
- Assist the Assistant / Purchasing Manager in daily operational matters
- Follow-up with suppliers and/or Chefs for non-delivery of items, goods return, out-of-stock items, unit price variance and credit notes etc
- Clearing and following-up on open PO in the purchasing system
- Updating of quarterly market bids in the purchasing system
