**About this job**:
We are looking for a full-time Lead UX Designer with strong design fundamentals and experience in leading multiple digital product design projects. Location could be Ahmedabad / Pune / Remote.

The role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, the Development team, UI Designers, and Business Analysts to ensure that wireframes are fully aligned with business objectives, technically feasible, and effectively communicate the intended user experience, while also ensuring that all requirements are clearly and accurately defined.

**What you will be doing**:

- Design Operations initiatives to optimize the way design projects are executed and managed.
- Building and mentoring a competitive team which is capable of delivering quality work.
- Gathering product requirements, estimating the project and managing the execution of the project.
- Collaborating with Product Managers, Project Managers, Jr. UX/UI Designers, Developers, etc
- Conducting client workshops for requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, brainstorming, etc
- Define information architecture, user journeys, persona, workflow diagrams.
- Perform user research, usability testing and analyse product usage to determine important decisions.
- Iteratively create and test low to high fidelity wireframes / prototypes.
- Work with a team, delegation of work, mentoring and direction.

**Must Haves**:

- 8+ years of experience.
- At least 3+ years of experience leading design projects and teams.
- A degree from a design school or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communicator. You must be fluent in speaking and writing English.
- Should have high level of knowledge and expertise in Shipping domain.
- Outstanding portfolio showing hands-on UX track record.
- Proven history improving user workflows and interactions.
- Expert knowledge of interaction design, UI design, user experience best practices, usability principles, and frameworks.
- Extensive experience building and rapidly iterating on wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
- Experience conducting user research ( (i.e user interviews and surveys) and usability testing.
- Able to produce user requirements and insights documentation (i.e. personas and user scenarios).
- Able to develop and propose a strategic research and design implementation plan.
- Expert at tools such as Figma.
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Able to multitask and work on multiple products at once with global clients across multiple time zones (with of course a properly planned schedule which ensures work life balance for you).
