Senior Project Manager, East Zone

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.

You will be responsible for the design management, project management and construction management of a 338- key Hotel/Resort Development. Your scope will cover all construction stages inclusive of structural, architectural, interior fit out and M&E Works, to obtaining statutory completion and handover.

In executing the project, you will be supporting the Superintending Officer in PSSCOC contracts or assisting the Project execution lead. You will be supported by a team of multi-disciplinary consultants, specialists, and the site team.

You will be coordinating the works across with both external and internal stakeholders for the new construction interface with the current park operator to ensure mínimal business interruptions.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
Project and Construction Management
- Manage the Construction of a 338- key Hotel/Resort project to completion/handover to the Hotel Operator
- Ensure Safety, Quality and Progress KPIs are met for the project.
- Review and monitor project schedule, safety, quality & cost deliverables.
- Establish Reporting System to track project performance and progress.
- Monitor and Implement Risk Management Process for the Project (Design and Construction).
- Chair Progress Meetings with Contractor and/or Consultants when required.
- Interfacing with relevant stakeholders to ensure mínimal disruption to existing park operations

Design Management
- Managing Client’s Consultants and the Main Contractor to resolve design issues in a timely manner to facilitate progress of Works at the Site.
- Chair Technical Meetings with Client Design Consultants and/or Main Contractor to manage the design process, issue resolution and to meet design/progress deliverables.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Degree qualifications or higher in Architecture.
- At least 10 to 12 years working experience.
- Proficient & well experienced in Singapore’s form of contracts, PSSCOC, SIA, FIDIC, REDAS.
- Experience in Hotel/resort projects in the capacity of project manager, project architect/engineer (with contractor, consultant and/or developer) with project values larger than $100 million and above.
- Meticulous, organized and detail-orientated
- Encompass strong interpersonal skills and can work well with peers, subordinates, senior management and stakeholders.
- Possess strong technical skills and knowledge for architectural and interior fit out works to interface with other trade disciplines
- Ability to articulate and provide presentations, reports & updates to Senior Management when required.
