We deliver services in supply and logistics management, asset management, risk management, market access management, while contributing to the market understanding, design and efficiency and developing market solutions to accelerate the energy transition. GEMS manages one of the largest and most diversified energy portfolios in Europe, including electricity, natural gas, bulk commodities, and environmental products. Within the GEMS Business Unit, the Business Platform **APAC Platform** is managing and developing the group’s trading activities for the APAC region as well as Middle East. **WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE** **Organization** As part of the Oil derivatives team reporting to the Head of Oil Trading APAC, you will collaborate to the fulfilment of the missions of the department and may be involved in projects spanning multiple teams across commercial sales functions and staff. **Main activities** - Support Oil derivatives trading desk in daily activity: executing FX and commodity runoff, curve marking, trade booking, etc. - Work closely with Energy sales team: trade simulation, new product setup, data analysis, etc. - Play an active role in troubleshooting trading system, risk and P&L issues - Liaise with different support teams to achieve objectives - Prepare reports and maintain database of energy prices - Help with oil market analysis projects **YOUR PROFILE** - Graduate degree with a specialisation in Business/Finance or related discipline - 1-3 years working experience trading firms or financial institutions dealing with commodities **Technical skills** - MS Office computer skills, VBA/database development would be an asset - Analytical ability and basic finance knowledge - General commodities product knowledge **Behavioural skills** - Strong drive for results and complex problems solving - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to propose positive business solutions to complex problems, - Excellent attention to details with strong organisational skills - Team Player - Solid interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders across the functions - Excellent communication skills and ability to prepare presentations - Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and responsibly - Ability to multi-task and prioritise while working in a fast-paced environment **Working place** - Asia Square Tower 1 - Business Unit: GEMS- Division: GEMS - BP ASIA PACIFIC- Legal Entity: ENGIE ENERGY MARKETING SINGAPORE PTE LTD- Contract Type: VIE- Job Type: Full - Time- Professional Experience: Junior (experience < 3 years)- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
