**Job Description: Consultant, Prophet Modelling / Financial Reporting**

Actuaries OnTap is seeking part qualified actuaries to join our expanding team. We will provide you with variety, enabling you to work on a range of projects with different clients across Asia. The types of projects will include those listed below where your initial focus will best match your most recent experience and skills.
- IFRS17 preparation including Prophet modelling, liaison with IT, finance and operations to implement CSM tools and parallel runs
- Financial reporting on various bases
- Product development for insurer’s new product launches including pricing and assisting all stages up to launch
- Experience analysis to help derive client’s genuine best-estimate biometric or lapse assumptions which will become more critical under IFRS 17. The analysis will seek to highlight key management actions to feed into improving the business
- Reinsurance optimisation to help clients decide on the best retention and reinsurance program

**Qualifications & Experience**

You will have:

- at least four years of experience in an insurer, reinsurer or consultancy with strong knowledge of Prophet
- ideally have worked within pricing or financial reporting with some knowledge of the different core valuation processes.
- good written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate complex and technical matters to a lay audience
- a well-rounded personality who enjoys working on projects with multi-disciplinary teams
- technical depth and a hunger to learn
- familiarity with at least one regulatory reporting regime and/or reporting basis (eg EV, IFRS, RBC, SII, etc)
- a commercial mind and enjoy problem solving to deliver clear actions which are value orientated
- high attention to detail with a natural inclination to produce supporting documentation
