**The Role** **Overview of the role**: As a P&C Consultant in ICT, you will be responsible for managing/delivering on a variety of projects including pricing & predictive analytics, IFRS 17, reserve valuation, RBC, merger & acquisitions etc for our P&C clients mainly across South East Asia. You will be responsible for reviewing the analysis and explaining the results, and will work closely with the other analysts/consultants and project lead to ensure timely delivery of projects. Many of the projects will involve using WTW”s market leading actuarial software and techniques to produce customised solutions for our clients. In addition to project delivery, you will also be responsible for client communication, project management, and business development activities. **Performance Objectives**: **Clients** - Serve as the workstream lead/project manager, ensuring the progress of the team against established project scope, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards - Serve as the primary day-to-day contact to clients on delivery of services, while managing client expectations - Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations - Work as part of a multidisciplinary consulting team to analyze issues and develop value-added solutions for the clients - Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects - Participate in business development activities and work with the team to develop propositions. **Financial** - Meet billable hour targets - Manage project financials - Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by assisting on proposals, demos and presentations **People** - Build strong relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams - Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels - Serve as mentor to junior team members **Excellence** - Deliver high-quality work in compliance with Excellence standards and proactively look to improve the process - Manage time effectively between multiple concurrent assignments - Strong understanding of the insurance industry across South East Asia (SEA) - Seek learning and development opportunities **The Requirements** - Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or any other related quantitative fields - Good progress with actuarial exams from recognised International Actuarial Bodies - Strong understanding and working experience in IFRS 17, reserving, pricing, claims/underwriting analytics and/or M&A - Familiarity with WTW’s software (e.g. Emblem, Radar, ResQ and/or ResQ Financial Reporter) is a plus - Consulting or regional experience is a plus - Broad experience in general insurance business and actuarial practice - Familiar with insurance regulations and market in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and/or Indonesia - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Good time management skills, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently - Self-driven achiever, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision - Able to see the "big picture" and think beyond the task at hand and understand how one’s work fits into the broader landscape
