**R & D Engineer - Chemical/ Polymer (1-Year Contract)**

Our client is a German - based chemicals manufacturer in Singapore. The company is expanding rapidly in recent years to cater the needs of producing a wide range of innovative products. This has also extended to its research and development capabilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- To work with scientists/ chemists/ technician in additive design and manufacturing activities.
- To develop and manage CAD files and 3D printers use in material printability test.
- To take care of products and provide technical support through trouble shooting and rectifications.
- To ensure the efficiency of routine operation of 3D printing is carried out in accordance to the established EHSQ protocols.
- To perform quality inspections on the printed parts and identify area for improvements.
- To conduct training for all users.
- To ensure timely and accurate documentations.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material/ Polymer Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimally with relevant internship experience in the Additive Manufacturing.
- With knowledge of design and prepare 3D models using 3D CAD/CAM software.
- Understand the safety aspects/ requirements in the chemical laboratory.
- Knowledge of Chemistry and Polymer is an advantage.
