**Role Summary**
- A leading US organization is looking to hire their VP, Operations and Supply Chain for MEA region. The incumbent is responsible for providing efficient, profitable leadership to the region's manufacturing and supply chain operations. The incumbent needs to bring expertise in manufacturing, quality, planning, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
- All production, supply chain, and technical engineering support organizations report to this position.
- The organization is looking for a leader who can be a key member of the organization’s leadership team and enable deep relationships with suppliers and customers within the region.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Set the strategy for operations and supply chain processes.
- Manage supplier and customer relationships to ensure profitable business growth.
- Lead negotiations as necessary - especially to enable business development within the region
- Initiate and implement continuous operational improvement throughout the organization and support an effective corrective action process.
- Provide leadership to facilities whether owned or via JVs within the region.
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to improve quality, reduce costs, and provide scalability.
- Through organization, definition, planning, implementation, and control, manage the execution of big critical projects.
- Identify areas in which to invest to support future growth.
- Provide leadership to the teams, whether organizational or to Joint Ventures within the region.

**Qualifications**
- The right incumbent should have experience in leading and managing the manufacturing, quality, and supply chain organizations in large multinational organizations.
- Commercial and business oriented to develop long-term relationships within the region.
- Accomplished business professional with superior issue-resolution skills in both process and people.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, follow-up, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record in building a strong and cohesive teams
- Experience in managing people in multiple geographies
