**Health Coach (Sleep)**
**(Singapore)**:
**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Health Coach to be responsible for evaluating and improving clients' health and wellness. The responsibilities include assessing clients' health, coaching clients on how to improve their health, and developing health care plans.
- Has knowledge of diagnosis and management of sleep disorders, with a focus on Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome.
- Understands communication techniques for teaching and the principles of learning to enhance education for patients, families, and the community.
- Understands what to look for and how to analyze the results of the various tests and tools used to diagnosis, evaluate, and monitor sleep disorders.
- Knows how to assess patient compliance and comfort with treatment in order to improve clinical outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- NITEC or Diploma
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct initial consultations and evaluations of individuals
- Providing guidelines to reduce or eliminate unhealthy behaviors
- Developing and conducting seminars for clients and other employees
- Developing health care plans tailored for each client's needs
- Working with other health care providers
- Supporting clients in their recovery or rehabilitation
- Follow physician-partners’ instructions and guidelines related to the administration of sleep aids
- Explain the use of sleep aids and orient the patient for the sleep aids objectives
- Document routine observations of patients’ receptiveness towards the use of the sleep aids in order to facilitate patient’s compliance to the treatment
- Demonstrate adherence to cleaning and disinfection procedures for sleep aids
- Perform routine equipment care and maintenance and inventory evaluation
- Respond to clients procedural-related inquiries by providing appropriate information
- Assist with patient education

**Requirements**:

- Training in Coaching, Fitness, or Nutrition
- Previous experience working with healthcare clients are preferred
- Knowledge of good health practices
- Must be up-to-date with the latest health care developments
- Good organizational skills
- Compassionate
- Appropriate computer skills
- Effective social and customer service skills
