Role Overview
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct initial assessments to understand clients’ readiness for change, and health and wellness goals.
- Co-develop personalised, client-driven health and wellbeing goals focused on sustainable behavior change.
- Use motivational interviewing, goal setting, and accountability techniques to support clients’ progress.
- Deliver individual coaching sessions in-person and/or virtually.
- Maintain accurate documentation of coaching sessions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with the organization’s requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (such as healthcare and allied health providers) when applicable.
- Participate in the development and facilitation of wellbeing workshops and events.

**Requirements**:
**Required**:

- Certification as a Health and Wellness Coach (certified by Wellcoaches and/or NBHWC, or eligible).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in health coaching or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, curious and non-judgmental approach.
- Ability to work independently and support multiple clients effectively.

**Preferred**:

- Background in nutrition, exercise science, nursing, psychology, or public health.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with data privacy standards.
