The Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) business is looking to hire a risk-manager for Precious Metals in Singapore. The person will be an integral part of the Global Foreign Exchange business in Asia Pacific.

**Your key responsibilities**:
As a Precious Metals Trader you will be responsible for:

- Quoting the bank’s franchise in the region across a wide range of currencies and derivative products
- Managing the DB precious metals spot and forwards book in Apac, and providing competitive pricing for client deals, in collaboration with traders in other locations
- Growing the Precious Metals franchise in Apac (spot, forward, derivatives)
- Developing strong physical book and having a strong knowledge base of nuances of the physical market
- Identify and nurture new opportunities and relationships with institutional and corporate clients
- Working closely with sales, structuring and clients to build and expand the Precious Metals franchise with institutional and corporate clients
- Generating and pitching trade ideas and market color for clients, actively seeking business opportunities and broadening the client base

**Your skills and experience**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- 3-5 years of prior work experience in Precious Metals Trading
- Experience of pricing and managing Precious Metals Spot and Forward risk
- Knowledge of base metals trading and LME/CME/INE approved warehouse exchange storage, exchange warrants issuance, warehouse receipts issuance.
- A thorough knowledge of the various products traded in the Spot, Forwards and Options Precious Metals markets
- Strong understanding of market structure and existing relationships with participants and stakeholders (clients, exchanges, regulators etc) across Asia Pacific
- Commercial focus, ability to take initiatives, and skills to solve complex business problems
- Ability to articulate ideas confidently and concisely.

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirement applies
