Description of organisation:
Artistic Strategies Academy is an English writing school that grooms and mentors young writers through the arts (drama, movement, visual arts, clay-making & more).

**Responsibilities**:
1) Conduct lesson observations for both face-to-face and online classes to ensure that teachers are managing students well, achieving learning outcomes and creating conducive learning environments

2) Assist in supervising and mentoring teachers, advising them on how to solve or avoid problems, eg. Recalcitrant students, counsel students who lack social-emotional skills or whose learning attitudes need to be addressed
- 3) Ensure that teachers get the support they need whether it is pedagogical or classroom related

4) Chair monthly meetings with teachers, guide and remind them to practise and espouse ASA’s culture and values, address any concerns that they might have

5) Evaluate the feedback (both structured and ad hoc) given by parents/children and decide on the best course of action, eg. Discuss with the teachers how to address the feedback and tailor lessons to target students’ areas of improvement while harnessing their strengths
- 6)Assist in developing strong partnerships with parents to guide their children to achieve their highest potential

7)Recommend solutions to parents to help their children improve,

**Qualifications**:

- Nurturing, encouraging and patient when communicating with others (students, teachers and parents)
- Are reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic
- Committed
- Flexible and a strong team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a high level of accountability and integrity
- Have competent problem-solving capabilities

You have:
Experience in coaching/training/teaching/counselling and managing or interacting with children (6-15 years) is preferred
