**Job Objectives/Job Summary**:
As a Quantity Surveyor, he/she manages all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures as well as doing tendering works and calling for quotation with a team.

**Responsibilities/Duties**:

- Ability to source for suppliers and sub-contractors quotation.
- Tabulation of price comparison and costing summary.
- Provide central quantity surveying service.
- Preparation of interim valuations, pricing and agreement of contract variations.
- Regular and up-to-date claim submissions and follow-up.
- Assist monthly cost and value report.
- Quantity take-off.
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
- Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
- Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
- Performing risk and value management and cost control.
- Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks.
- Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders.
- Valuing completed work and arranging payments.
- Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use.
- Ad-hoc assignments

**Job Specifications/Requirements**:

- Degree or Diploma in building/quantity surveying/civil/mechanical/electrical engineering or its equivalent.
- 3 years relevant working experience in construction.
- Resourceful and maintain good relationship with clients and sub-contractors.
- Meticulous, independent, highly motivated and results-oriented.
- A good team leader and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month
