ESL Singapore is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic **Payroll & HR Administrator** to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. This position is based in Singapore and is a regional role working across the Asia Pacific Japan region.

**The Role**

**As the Payroll & HR Administrator for APJ, you will**:

- Organise and maintain employee records within payroll and HRIS systems
- Liaise with ADP partner to execute payroll for Malaysia, Singapore and Australian entities
- Assist HR Generalist to prepare and manage HR documentation, including but not limited to staff contracts and onboarding documents
- Update internal databases (e.g. annual and sick leave tracking)
- Assist management with HR personnel budget planning
- Maintain HR reporting Google Sheets for management’s visibility
- Answer employee queries regarding payroll-related matters
- Maintain local roster
- Process expense claims
- Prepare and send intercompany staff recharge invoices
- Work closely with our local finance team during end of month reporting to prepare financial payroll & HR data for SAP accounting system
- Assist with annual audits ensuring relevant HR and payroll data provided in a timely manner
- Assist to update workers compensation insurance policies for all APJ entities
- Ensure statutory compliance for each entity in our region including but not limited to payroll taxes, employee income tax lodgements and social security submissions to relevant authorities
- Communicate with our external partners
- Assist recruitment team with job ad postings and internal hiring approval forms
- Work closely with our global HR team, based in America and Europe, to ensure global policies and documentation are adhered to

**Job Requirements**
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-4 years experience within the field of HR
- Experience working in a global company
- Excellent skills using software such as G-suite, MS Office (especially Excel), and similar tools
- Effective organisational skills
- Knowledge of HRIS systems (Bamboo, Workable or similar)
- ADP payroll knowledge is a plus
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with different types of people at various levels
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Experience, knowledge, and understanding of esports and Gaming (nice to have)
