Job Purpose

The Industry Project Manager plays a key role in planning and executing all the logistics for all SSTL events/activities including exhibitions, conferences and all other projects to deliver a professional and high quality event within budget and in a timely manner. He will ensure the smooth operation of the logistics for all SSTL’s events. In addition, he will have to quickly adapt and embrace/learn and understand the new industry (Space) so he can perform his role effectively.

Principal

**Responsibilities**:

- Acquire Space & Satellite industry knowledge
- Acquire understanding/knowledge on Satellite and space industry and related technologies, including artificial intelligence, earth observation, machine learning for project planning and client engagements for speakers and sponsors’ recruitment
- Familiarization with the venture and startup, deeptech ecosystem for new client engagements and update and consolidate relevant database start-up’s recruitment
- Project management for key/flagship events for SSTL from start to completion (including planning, budget management, on-site logistics and appointment of vendors/venue), ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Organises all digital and in-person events across different departments (education, industry, innovation) to support the business plans according to requirements, target audience and objectives.
- Provide strategic and informed guidance to team members, and develop networking programmes for the space industry.
- Manage and oversee event resources including interns, facilitators, volunteers
- Provide marketing support when required
- Support technology projects as required
- Any other task not mentioned above

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Degree / Diploma in any field
- Possess good planning, organizational skills to multi-task and are adaptive to fast paced environment
- Interpersonal, communication skills with strong client-service orientation
- Possess a “can do” attitude.
- Possess a high degree of self-discipline and motivation.
- Willingness to travel
- Highly developed project and time management skills
- Preferbly, knowledge on Zoho CRM solution
