The Investment Services Private Markets Department (ISPVM) is responsible for investment services for the private market across the GIC group. It is responsible for providing deal structuring and closing, portfolio monitoring, valuation, finance, operations, tax, data management and analytics services, in the execution of private market investments in Real Estate (RE), Private Equity, Private Credit and Infrastructure. It is involved in financial reporting and accounting of investment holding companies, as well as operations and financial due diligence for asset operations.
A comprehensive global reporting and analysis platform is crucial for the effective oversight of GIC RE’s portfolio given its continued expansion and complexity across multiple sectors. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to manage the operational requirements of this platform, working in partnership with the RE business and other key departments within GIC.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage day-to-day portfolio reporting operations and processes for RE globally, and continuously seek improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk
- Partner with GIC enterprise departments such as the Risk & Performance Management, Economics & Investment Strategy, Legal & Compliance departments to implement enterprise reporting needs for the RE business
- Develop and maintain dashboard and data analytics for the RE portfolio supporting the RE Global Investments & Portfolio Strategy team
- As a conduit between RE business and the Private Markets data solutions function, support the identification, design, collection and quality control of data that is critical for RE’s analytics needs
- Participate in projects, gather business requirements and support UAT testing to improve the operational and data capabilities of the RE business
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience and good academic qualifications in relevant fields
- Working knowledge of performance and exposure measurement methodologies
- Ability to conceptualize ideas, formulate tactical plans, and execute to agreed timelines
- Strong analytical and project management abilities with an eye for detail
- Experience in process evaluation and re-engineering
- Excellent end-user computing skills in visualization and data transformation such as Tableau. Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL and R
- Comfortable managing a significant volume of data and good appreciation of data governance concepts
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas and engage stakeholders across different domains
- Inquisitive self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
