- Manage a team of submissions reviewers to facilitate excellent platform education and seamless functionality in the submissions review process
- Review user submissions and platform behavior to identify abuse trends and patterns in suspicious activity
- Take appropriate action on fraudulent submissions based on established procedures and document those actions
- Examine existing operational procedures to identify, plug and eliminate inefficiencies in the submissions review and fraud investigation process
- Lead the product operations team in handling fraud
- and submissions-related user inquiries
- Generate insights through data collection, investigation and user profiling
- Work with the content development, operations and product teams to identify gaps in existing fraud prevention measures
- Lead new initiatives to strategize, recommend, operationalize and test solutions for preventative measures against anticipated fraud, including the exploration and implementation of technological tools and product-adjacent solutions to tackle likely problems
- Represent fraud prevention and operations in product strategy and roadmap development

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years of experience in product operations or an operational role that worked closely with product and engineering teams, preferably in the startup industry
- A proven track record in successfully managing and executing projects that involve the implementation and execution of operations systems
- Knowledgeable in operational system implementation and process reengineering
- Knowledgeable in the learning and education of programming languages You do not need to be proficient at any particular programming language. However, as the platform teaches aspiring developers to code, being familiar with basic programming and the process of learning how to code will help with the submissions review process.
- Strong problem solving, pattern recognition and analytical skills
- Familiarity/experience in fraud detection and/or integrity management of educational platforms
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
