The APMA Value and Access Director will create and support countries in implementing Access, Pricing and Healthcare Systems Strategies for prioritized innovative launch and pre-launch products across all Market Archetypes in APMA, focusing on Gene Therapy portfolio.

**About the Role**:
**Your Responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Develop and operationalize Value and Access strategies:

- Represent key countries to co-create International Value and Access strategies for Advanced, Aspiring and Emerging Markets
- Address key data gaps by providing input into the clinical development program
- Support the generation and analysis of Access Evidence and HE&OR
- Provide an early assessment on Pricing, Value and Access opportunities which are reflected in the Region strategic plans
- Co-develop a framework of Disruptive Access Models for each relevant brand
- Help countries in understanding the International/Regional strategies and practicing the implementation by facilitating Payer Mock Negotiation workshops
- Collaborate with related functions to ensure development and implementation of effective and innovative strategies and programs that create value for patients
- Align Integrated Product Access Strategies for Advanced Markets which will be tailored for other Market Archetypes
- Demonstrate well designed and implemented (external) healthcare system strategies for rare diseases aligned with business/access priorities
- Support implementation of access and healthcare system strategies in key countries / overseeing in-country pull through

**Minimum requirements**
- Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical or other related discipline.
- At least 7 years pharmaceutical access and/or commercial experience successfully driving growth of multiple products or non-pharmaceutical access and/or commercial experience driving innovative growth in healthcare sector
- Strong background in systems thinking, combining pragmatic understanding of healthcare business models with clinical reimbursement and access criteria - ability to think within, as well as beyond, the system
- Advanced knowledge of access environment in key countries
- Strong external orientation - with the ability to engage, influence and align external/internal stakeholders (physicians, payers, governments)
- Inspirational leadership with high level of self-awareness and curiosity with focus on empowering others, people development and collaboration in a matrix
- Impact and operational excellence: through processes and procedures, get things done, scale-up, while focusing on innovation and continuous improvement whenever possible
- A strong track record in developing new access models in healthcare and approaches towards accelerating patient/customer adoption and uptake
