Head of Logistics, Asia

As the Head of Logistics Asia you will lead and drive Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s logistics in Asia. You will ensure the optimal flow of goods and services to our stores RestOfWorld and support Inbound to EU.

The right person can expect an interesting and developing position in a fast-paced international environment with good working conditions. You will report to the Managing Director in Singapore and work from our soon-to-open office there.
You must expect business trips as a part of carrying out your job. Our regional set up is new and you will therefore play an active role in developing and maturing the regional team.

Besides managing resources and capacity efficiently and cost-effectively, your tasks will include:
Management:

- Lead, manage and develop your team and department
- Create team spirit and maintain great cooperation to the Head Office in Copenhagen, Denmark
- Participate/lead on Team and department meetings, management meetings, monthly logistics operations meeting, cross functional status meetings
- Have close sparring with the logistics management team and senior management

Logistics:

- Implement new transport providers (in and out)
- Implement new whs across the Region
- Develop (or exit) relationships with 3PL supporting the overall strategy
- Secure right cost price of logistics services
- Manage external suppliers
- Secure satisfied partners (in relation to logistics)
- Develop the future logistics setup for RestOfWorld

Projects:

- Participate and drive strategic projects and be responsible for the project budget
- Implement new sea freight set-up
- Prepare project plans which are in accordance with strategy, time/deliveries
- Arrange events/meetings (e.g. kick off arrangements, project team meetings)

Collaborate with partners on how outbound shipping set-up can further improve

**What do we expect?**

Furthermore, it is expected that you have:

- Logistics industry understanding (trends/services)
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Project Management skills
- Good understanding of the logistics and Supply Chain operational cost
- High level of excel skills
- Preferably an understanding of statistics
- Knowledge in ERP-systems
- Fluency in written and spoken English
