**Roles Responsibilities**
This position reports to the director and interfaces with both organisation managers and consumers. Lepawtory Pte. **Specific Responsibilities**
1. Trainee will understand the daily opening and closing procedure such as cleaning the shop, preparing tools for the day, ordering any items low in inventory
2. Trainee will be able to handle client's pets with care. Trainee will be able to read physical cues from pet to understand when animals are uncomfortable
3. Trainee will be able to effectively communicate with clients about how they want their pets to be groomed ensuring client is always satisfied with the outcome after grooming. Trainee will be able to update clients on the progress of their pets grooming
4. Trainee will be able to suggest products that will fit the needs of each unique
client and pet
5. Trainee will be able to manage and lead staff such as running the floor ensuring smooth operations and procedure is being followed
**Technical Skills and Competencies**
1. Opening and closing operations
2. Animal care
3. Communicating with clients and having a clear understanding of what client is asking for
4. Understanding the products we sell
5. Leadership skills
