**About Our Client**:
Our client is a giant investment firm based in Southeast Asia committed to driving sustainable development through infrastructure investments in emerging markets with a strong track record of successful projects. They operate in various sectors including **real estate development, hospitality, airlines, consumer goods, finance, and infrastructure**. They have been actively engaged in developing large-scale projects, including sophisticated residential and commercial properties, hotels, and resort.

As the Public Policy Director, you will spearhead the strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of policy initiatives that will shape the growth and sustainability of the Central Business District. You will collaborate with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and community organizations to ensure the smooth execution of projects, while championing the principles of inclusivity, sustainability, and economic progress.
- Lead, develop, and execute the company's public policy strategies, especially in the infrastructure (business district development, real estates, resort).
- Collaborate closely with esteemed partners within the Private Equity firm, gaining valuable exposure to their expertise and insights in the industry. Work directly with various businesses within the portfolio, providing a rich and diverse experience across different sectors.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of relevant policies, regulations, and market trends to identify opportunities and potential risks for the firm's investment projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, NGOs, and local communities, to advocate for favorable policy environments and ensure the successful implementation of investment initiatives.
- Monitor and assess regulatory changes and political developments that may impact the firm's investments, and proactively recommend adjustments to strategies and activities accordingly.
- Stay updated on emerging public policy trends, international best practices, and sustainable development goals, integrating them into the company's policy framework.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Openness to potential relocation is preferred.
- Someone with a strong policy-making experience, preferably coming from a financial/investment institutions.
- Strategic mindset and strong analytical abilities
- Strong background in public policy, urban planning, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing policy initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge of urban development, economic growth, and sustainable practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
