Roles & Responsibilities
Oversees the orderly and timely execution of all warehouse activities and constantly working or taking lead on continuous improvement initiatives
Provide direction and management for the day-to-day warehousing activities
Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short
- and long-term performance goals
Work closely with external vendors or related 3rd parties on any related services, activities or service performed to ensure operation are in order or achieve the required performance and result.
Implement cost-efficiency processes and reduce cost in warehouse operations
Ensure continuous improvement of the warehouse functions and activities
Strong leadership and able to motivate, organize and encourage teamwork to maximize productivity and targets are met or exceeded
Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods
Ensure operations comply with law and regulatory requirements
Instigate, drive, measure and report on processes and initiatives as required in support of the core warehousing and logistics metrics
Hands-on duties in the warehouse
**Requirements**:
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ of experience working in logistics and warehouse operations
Good written and communication skills
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
