Board Member Role:
We are seeking a Strategic Professional with a global network of supply chain and logistics professionals to join our client's board of directors as a Board Member. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and access to your network to drive the company's growth and help shape the future direction of the company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Participate in regular board meetings and provide valuable insights on critical strategic and operational issues.
- Act as an advisor to the CEO and management team, providing guidance and support on critical decisions.
- Offer a unique perspective and bring new ideas to the table to help drive growth and success.
- Oversee the company's financial performance and ensure the organization is financially stable.
- Review and approve the company's annual budget and monitor its implementation.
- Ensure the company is following good corporate governance practices.
- Positively represent the company to stakeholders and maintain relationships with key partners.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the supply chain technology industry and its trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and provide valuable insights to the management team.
- Experience in finance and budgeting is a plus.
