**SEO Specialist**

We are looking for an experienced SEO specialist to optimise our media platform and accompanying forum-based website for better search rankings, site performance, and discoverability.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Improve Google Rankings & Organic Visibility**
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve front-page visibility for target keywords and articles.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitor analysis, and gap analysis to identify opportunities for growth.

Website Performance Optimization
- Perform ongoing website maintenance to optimize loading speed, reduce bounce rates, and improve overall site performance.
- Ensure technical SEO best practices are implemented, including crawlability, indexability, and mobile-friendliness.

**Domain Authority & Backlinking Strategy**
- Enhance domain authority by building high-quality backlinks from reputable sources.
- Develop and execute a robust backlinking strategy to improve search engine rankings and referral traffic.

Content Optimization for Search Engines
- Optimize Q&A content, blog posts, and forum pages to ensure search engines can easily retrieve relevant phrases and answers.
- Implement structured data markup (e.g., schema.org) to enhance search engine understanding and visibility.

**Analytics & Reporting**
- Track and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party SEO platforms.
- Provide regular reports on key metrics, including organic traffic, rankings, and conversion rates.

**Requirement**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proven track record of success with a portfolio showcasing effective SEO campaigns and measurable results.
- In-depth knowledge of Google’s search algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture.
- Experience with site audits, performance optimization, backlink analysis, outreach, and strategy development.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
