You will lead and innovate in identifying new publicity opportunities and achieve high-impact outcomes, especially in the area of media relations. You will liaise with key news media contacts, identify media engagement opportunities and seek positive profiling opportunities in the form of favourable media coverage in key local media channels. Working with internal stakeholders and senior management, you will handle media requests and queries, and manage public feedback generated through the media. You will assist in developing strategic media publicity plans and be responsible for preparing high quality media materials. You will also propose, plan and execute integrated communications campaigns, and manage key projects and events. In addition, you will oversee the production of videos and collaterals including patient communications materials.

Job Requirements:

- Good university degree with at least 6 years relevant experience in communications and media relations
- Proven track record with strong news sense, good media network and sound knowledge of current affairs and communications best practices
- Strong communications skills with an excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in a second language is preferred to understand and handle media requests and queries, and manage public feedback generated through the media.
- Adept at project management and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Self-driven with supervisory experience, strong interpersonal and stakeholder influencing skills
- Familiarity with new media is essential
- Active team player
- Confident, creative and resourceful
