Special Project Executive

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Project Execution & Coordination**
- Support the rollout and implementation of strategic projects in operations, procurement, and digital systems.
- Monitor progress of departmental action plans and ensure timely follow-through.
- Assist in transitioning workflows (e.g., procurement consolidation, export process improvements, system upgrades).
**2. Operational & Supply Chain Support**
- Provide hands-on support to operational and supply chain teams during peak periods or new transitions.
- Assist with supplier coordination, export logistics, and internal process adjustments.
- Step in on an ad hoc basis to support special events or time-sensitive deliverables.
**3. Quality Assurance & Team Guidance**
- Review internal outputs for consistency and accuracy (e.g., item setup, PO processes, logistics documentation).
- Provide informal coaching to team members on systems or workflows, especially new or junior staff.
- Help reinforce attention to detail and standard operating procedures.
**4. Digitisation Support & System Adoption**
- Help test, deploy, and monitor internal digital tools (e.g., ordering systems, automation tools, ERP integrations).
- Serve as a bridge between end-users and developers to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing user support.
- Encourage adoption by working side-by-side with internal users and resolving issues on the ground.
**5. Business Continuity & Backup**
- Act as a ready backup for key operations or supply chain roles when team members are unavailable.
Ensure continuity of backend functions during transitions or absences.
**Requirements**:
- At least a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or digital implementation projects.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proactive, hands-on, and not afraid to dive into day-to-day operations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or workflow software is a plus.
- Comfortable working across departments and communicating with technical and non-technical teams
