Chief Data Officer

**Job Description:
As the Chief Data Officer (CDO) at **Inypay **, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our data, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) long term strategy and execution with inhouse and vendor teams. We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data management, analytics, Data Science, Data Monetisation, and strategy development. As a CDO, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing data Analytics, Data science and Business Intelligence team, driving the development of AI/ML capabilities, and leveraging data to unlock insights, build data pipelines, and drive data monetization. Additionally, your expertise in building banking and operational AI/ML capabilities will be invaluable in enhancing our financial solutions.

**Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute the company's data strategy, aligning it with business objectives and ensuring its integration with overall company goals.

2. Lead the design and implementation of a modern data lake architecture that enables efficient data storage, processing, and retrieval.

3. Drive data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

4. Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, data scientists, data analysts by providing guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business insights, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences.

7. Establish best practices for data management, including data acquisition, integration, storage, and analytics

8. Establish best practices for ML Ops (Machine Learning Operations) to ensure efficient model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

9. Build robust data pipelines and infrastructure to support data collection, processing, storage, and analysis.

10. Identify opportunities for data monetization and work towards creating new revenue streams through data products and services.

11. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data management, AI/ML, and data monetization, making recommendations for their adoption to enhance Inypay's data capabilities.

Serve as a data evangelist within the organization, promoting the value of data-driven decision-making and cultivating a data-driven culture.

**Requirements:
1. Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

2. 25+ years of progressive experience in data management, analytics, AI/ML and strategy development, preferably with a focus on the banking industry.

4. Familiarity with ML Ops practices and experience in deploying and maintaining ML models at scale.

5. Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and regulatory compliance in the financial industry.

6. Proven experience in building data pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring data quality and reliability.

7. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to align data initiatives with overall business objectives.

8. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

9. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

10. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and critically.
