About the Role

To provide, develop and communicate Legal and Governance support and services to the organisation and senior management and advice on best practice in order to insure compliance with corporate governance, oversight requirements and/or laws and regulations and minimize legal exposure to risks.

What to expect?
- Act as primary centre of expertise for support about legal and governance services and tools.
- Coordinate the legal and governance activities, namely Public affairs, Compliance, Regulatory affairs, Board and/or Oversight matters within fixed guidelines and policies.
- Coach team members and act as back-up for manager when required.
- Lead the coordination and implementation of process improvement opportunities, both within the department and cross divisional.
- Develop and maintain contacts with internal (incl. senior management) and external (ex. suppliers/lawyers/public administrations/regulators/etc ) stakeholders to get a sound understanding of the company needs and procedures, update relevant documentation or issues new policies and procedures and communicate accordingly.
- Participate as expert to company projects.
- Lead risk assessments, take responsibility for a selection of controls, report on control status, and detect points of control failure.

What will make you successful?
- At least 7 years of related working experience.
- Capable to pursue the best course of action to deliver results and accountability.
- Good experience in process improvement and able to adhere towards strict deadline.
- Strong advocate on being a lifelong learner
- Strong business acumen
- Effective stakeholder management experience and know how.
- Leads with a team focus
- Effective communicator in verbal and written.
