Regional Director

**Description**:

Working as a core member of our APAC region management team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our Asset & Integrity business unit within the region. Using your background and knowledge in offshore operations, engineering and marine management, you will help to enhance ABL Group's reputation as a best-in-class and first choice service provider for the APAC region.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Partnering with stakeholders across the region and wider ABL Group, you will oversee the development and implementation of technical standards and services, business development, and service delivery strategies. More specifically, you will:

- Partner with the Regional Director and other business line heads to develop our asset management service offering.
- Develop new business together with regional teams and identify other cross-selling opportunities for the wider group business.
- Optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction with existing clients.
- Coordinate effective key service line contract delivery operations across the region.
- Ensure all operations and client agreements are delivered in accordance with contract instructions and meet ABL’s quality procedures and policies.
- Assist regional businesses in achieving their service line revenue targets through bidding, pricing and resourcing strategy support.
- Hold overall responsibility for the development and implementation of asset management technical standards across the APAC region.
- Implement and continuously improve work processes and supporting systems to deliver excellence.
- Represent ABL Group through the delivery of Presentations and involvement with Joint Industry Projects (JIP) and advisory panels at regional market-facing events, including Industry conferences etc. (as required).
- Develop local leadership, competence, capacity and support to build a high-value engineering team.

This position can be based in any country within the APAC region. The role holder will expected to travel on a regular basis across the region and undertake offshore assignments for clients.

**Qualifications and Experience Required**:
In order to be successful in this position, you should have a background in asset management in the marine and offshore sectors and possess proven business management skills.

**Essential**:

- Extensive knowledge of the asset management, offshore marine, and engineering consultancy sectors.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with a full technical understanding of the offshore marine and engineering consultancy business ideally within an operational management role
- Proven leadership experience with profit and loss management responsibility. You will be comfortable negotiating with existing and prospective clients.

**Desirable**:

- Membership of a relevant industry association or chartered status.
- Experience in executing mid to large-scale project development on a globalised basis.
- Tangible track record in project management and delivery of multi-million-dollar 3rd party service contracts.
- Track record in winning and assisting large asset and integrity management projects.
- Management training and skills development.
- Track record in delivering industry conference papers and presentations.
