Singapore SCDA INTERIORS PTE. LTD. Full time

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work on interior design assignments and client liaison, focusing on luxury hospitality and residential projects that include conceptual and schematic design through project completion.

**The Role**:

- Advise client on interior design factors such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination
- Participate in selection of FF&E color palettes and material presentations and generate specifications
- Select or design, and purchase furnishings, arts works and accessories
- Review and detail shop drawings for constructions plans
- Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to client for approval
- Subcontract fabrication, installation, and arrangement of carpeting, fixtures, accessories, draperies, paint and wall coverings, art work, furniture and related items
- Render design ideas in form of paste-ups or drawings
- Work with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps and fabricators to meet overall project objectives
- Provide project team coordination for material selections required for construction

**The Requirements**:

- Bachelors’ Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- 5-8 years of relevant experience as a FF&E Designer, with significant hospitality design experience with a focus on high end hotel projects
- Outstanding graphic presentation skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Skilled in conceptual thinking and experiential design
- Expert knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, color & materials
- Expert knowledge of furniture systems and specifications
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
- Ability to travel to different countries to manage projects
