Shiok Meats is looking for a Social Media Assistant (Content Creator). This position requires formulating and executing social media strategies for Shiok Meats and affiliated companies to align with business goals. Responsible for identifying social media trends and creating and revisioning content, managing posts, and responding to followers to achieve our marketing goals.

**Required background**:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Media, Marketing Communications, or new Media Marketing or Marketing related field of study.
- Good understanding and proficiency with digital production, website, and social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tiktok, Instagram) strategies to generate and promote the company, products, and services and to meet business goals. Proven experience in website development, innovative digital campaigns, social media marketing, effective service delivery, and digital assets delivery. Capable of handling digital analysis and web metrics.
- Comfortable with various editing tools, including Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, mobile creator apps, and in-app editing.
- Sound knowledge of essential tools, including Meta Business, Facebook Ad Managers, and Google Analytics.

**Preferred experience**:

- Minimum one year of working experience, preferably in a social media role.
- Understanding Life Science/ Food Technology/ industry-related topics is a plus.
- A portfolio of published articles, experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and familiarity with SEO is a plus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review, publish and generate impactful content on all social media platforms. This includes writing and editing social media posts, growing fans/followers' engagement, and supporting brand and social media campaigns.
- Produce, edit, distribute and share engaging content regularly (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news).
- Create and review social and video content and brand campaigns, ensuring traffic and growth targets are met.
- Well-versed in social media platforms, i.e., Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
- Engage with users and followers, respond promptly and monitor users' reviews and comments.
- Prepare periodical reports on social media marketing efforts when required.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks.
- Reports to Marketing Director, indirect reports to Sales & Marketing Manager.
