Because by using what we already have, we can end the world’s reliance on dirty fossil fuels to slow climate change and ensure we have a livable planet for future generations. **The role...** We are looking for a seasoned commercial leader to launch and scale our first international facility in China — a pivotal step in globalising our breakthrough climate tech. In this role you’ll be the driving force behind joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and market entry across the region. Based in **Singapore** and reporting directly to our **CEO**, you’ll turn first-of-a-kind innovation into large-scale commercial reality. This is a high-impact, high-trust role — ideal for a senior executive who can confidently navigate **boardrooms and factory floors**, structure **complex cross-border deals**, and build lasting partnerships with governments, investors, and global industry leaders. You'll represent Samsara Eco across Asia and act as the CEO’s key commercial partner as we scale. This role will require travel in Asia and to Australia. **Key Responsibilities...** **Strategic Leadership & Co-Delivery** - Serve as commercial lead and strategic partner to the CEO for Samsara’s **first international facility** in China. - Lead day-to-day commercial execution and contribute to project governance, board communication, and stakeholder alignment. - Shape and deliver the long-term regional commercialisation strategy, beyond the first facility. **Joint Venture & Partnership Execution** - Structure and negotiate complex commercial partnerships including joint ventures, co-investments, licensing, and long-term offtakes. - Design deal structures that balance value creation, risk-sharing, governance, and IP protection. - Engage global corporations, legal advisors, and regulators to execute large-scale partnership agreements. **Regional and Global Stakeholder Engagement** - Cultivate senior-level, trust-based relationships with government agencies, regulators, industrial partners, and public policy forums. - Represent Samsara Eco in commercial, trade, and government engagement forums. - Advise the CEO and Board on regulatory developments, ecosystem dynamics, and strategic partnerships. **Supply Chain & Market Enablement** - Design and implement regional feedstock and logistics strategies for the facility. - Partner with the CCO to secure reliable, contracted feedstock volumes and logistics partnerships. - Lead market readiness workstreams to support facility commissioning and commercial launch. **Commercial Performance & Governance** - Build and steward the full commercial business case for the **first international facility** and its replication. - Monitor commercial KPIs, risks, legal compliance, and financial viability across partners and jurisdictions. - Collaborate with CFO, CIO, and CEO to support investment decision-making and governance processes. **Capability Building & Scaling** - Build a high-performing regional commercial capability and succession pipeline. - Lead cross-functional teams and external vendors through startup and operational phases. - Champion Samsara’s values and commercial excellence with integrity and humility. **About You...** - Deep experience in senior commercial leadership roles in climate tech, chemicals, biotech, or advanced manufacturing. - Direct experience negotiating and executing high-value **joint ventures**, **licensing**, **co-investment**, and **scale-up manufacturing** deals particularly in Asia. - Track record of commercialising science-based technologies and building first-time commercial operations. - Deep understanding of commercialisation pathways, governance models, and market activation in global contexts. - Experience navigating public-private partnerships and cross-border regulatory environments, particularly in Asia. - **Significant commercial leadership experience in China**, including structuring joint ventures, navigating regulatory en
